The MRI Technologist – Remote Services Command Center is responsible for patient safety and performance of high-quality magnetic resonance studies and oversight of remote MR Technologist Assistants. Ensures effective communication with radiologists, team members, and patients. Responsible for training and orientation of new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants.

• Remote operation of multiple MR systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images (may provide onsite service as needed).
• Oversight of patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
• Use all communication channels to address concerns, solve problems, and manage conflict.
• Training and orientation of new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience.
• Certified by ARRT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Licensed to perform Magnetic Resonance in all applicable states.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 15% local travel may be required.

• Functional MRI experience.
• Cardiac MRI experience.
• ASL experience.
• Diffusion Tensor Imaging experience.
• Spectroscopy.
• Full Body Imaging experience.
• Complex analysis.
• Multi-vendor experience.

May be exposed to a strong magnetic field, bodily fluids, and infectious disease.

• More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, legs; communicate with patients.
• Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift
  10-20 lbs.
