Canon Healthcare USA (CHCU) is seeking a Sr. Lead Product Manager – CT & PET-CT to lead strategic product planning, market insights, and global adoption efforts for our advanced imaging solutions. Position Overview

The Sr. Lead Product Manager – CT & PET-CT defines Canon’s CT & PET-CT portfolio, aligning with clinical, technical, and commercial needs. You will identify opportunities, guide upstream product development, and work with global R&D teams, Upstream Marketing, and KOL Engagement Leads. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will lead the product lifecycle—from concept to commercialization—driving global market growth and adoption.

Key Responsibilities Market Insights & Strategy
  • Identify market opportunities and portfolio gaps to enhance growth and profitability.
  • Analyze clinical and business trends, collaborating with Upstream Marketing specialists to validate customer needs, feature sets, and value propositions.
  • Partner with marketing teams to assess market size, segmentation, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop recommendations for a CT & PET-CT product portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with Canon’s corporate objectives.
Product Development & Management
  • Gain deep insights into customer workflows and product gaps, using data-driven strategies to refine the CT & PET-CT portfolio.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities, clinical applications, and technology innovations to enhance Canon’s competitive position.
  • Assess overall business viability for new product investments and develop comprehensive business cases.
  • Translate market research and customer insights into actionable product requirements for R&D teams.
  • Work directly with customers, clinical experts, and sales teams to refine product concepts and usability.
  • Define and execute product strategies, partnering with engineering teams to prioritize attributes that drive differentiation and growth.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to design research studies supporting market adoption and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for pricing, patient access, reimbursement, and healthcare systems strategy.
  • Represent Canon’s CT & PET-CT portfolio at industry conferences and events to reinforce leadership positioning.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Upstream Marketing & Partner Development teams to drive marketing strategy and KOL engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a key liaison between global business units, engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.
  • Support commercialization efforts by providing strategic guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with Canon Global Marketing to develop materials that effectively communicate product differentiation to external stakeholders, payers, and trade channels.
Qualifications & Experience Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (M.S., Ph.D., or MBA preferred) in marketing, health sciences, or related field.
  • 9+ years of relevant healthcare industry experience, specializing in medical devices, product development, or CT imaging.
Required Competencies
  • Strong business insight with deep knowledge of upstream/downstream marketing, sales, operations, and product development.
  • Understanding of CT & PET-CT technology, clinical applications, and healthcare reimbursement models.
  • Experience in customer needs analysis, market segmentation, and product positioning.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with KOLs, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Expertise in KOL relationship management and advisory board engagement.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. healthcare regulations, approval processes, and reimbursement strategies.
Location & Travel
  • Based in CHCU’s home office in Mayfield Village (Cleveland), Ohio. This position will move to our permanent HQ on Cedar and 105th in Opportunity Corridor, Downtown Cleveland in 2026.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
