Minimum Requirements

LAC (pending final paperwork after passing the exam is acceptable).

We provide a flexible work schedule, but we expect our therapists to proactively balance client needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Given the high demand for sessions between 3 PM – 8 PM on weekdays
, success in this role requires availability during these peak hours at least 3 days a week.

We are hiring therapists from all walks of life, at all experience levels, from pre-licensed clinicians to fully licensed therapists with board approved clinical supervision credentials.

Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
  • Prefer candidates to be fully licensed mental health professionals with a valid state of New Jersey license, but if you are not, we can take you from new grad to fully licensed
  • Prefer experience with children, adolescents, teens, and/or adults
  • Prefer experience with couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and/or schools
  • Prefer a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Fully licensed clinicians will ideally have a history of being credentialed with insurance providers
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose behavioral health issues, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including additional diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Other tasks as needed that are meaningful and essential to your role
  • Sense of humor will undoubtedly help as well!
