Medical Billing Payment Poster

About the Role

We are hiring a Payment Poster to support a US healthcare (ABA therapy) billing team. The role involves posting ERAs/EOBs, applying denial and remit codes, assigning patient responsibility, and retrieving missing EOBs from insurance portals.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in either US medical billing OR South African healthcare-finance roles (medical aid billing, hospital billing, pharmacy claims, or similar).

You should have experience in one of the following
:

• Payment posting

• ERA/EOB processing

• Denials & adjustments

• US insurance portals

(easy to upskill into US workflow)

• Medical aid billing

• Hospital billing or clinical accounts

• Pharmacy claims / scheme processing

• Healthcare debtors / medical accounts receivable

• Post payments into Central Reach

• Process ERAs & paper EOBs

• Apply denial, remit, and adjustment codes

• Assign patient responsibility based on agreements

• Retrieve missing EOBs from Availity/Optum/UHC portals

• Identify underpayments and discrepancies

• Maintain accuracy and HIPAA compliance

• Experience in US medical billing OR SA medical billing / hospital billing / pharmacy claims

• Excellent accuracy with numbers

• Strong attention to detail

• Good English communication

• Reliable remote work setup

• Ability to learn US healthcare billing systems
