Therapist – Outpatient Program

Working within our Outpatient Division means joining a team that prioritizes clinical growth, work-life balance, and real impact in the community. Therapists have the opportunity to work with clients through individual, group, and family therapy, while also collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Prescribers, Case Managers, and Peer Specialists.

$60,000 to $65,000 annually – depending upon education, experience, licensure
HoursThis is a 40‑hour full‑time benefited position which includes some evenings required.
Job SummaryThe Therapist plans, organizes and implements clinical counseling services to consumers and families. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness.
Responsibilities- Plans for discharge and aftercare
- Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral
- Maintains treatment records
- Assesses and interprets data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age‑related care, needed by the consumer group
- Master’s Degree in counseling field with at least one year of experience preferred
- Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey
- LAC required
