• Conduct reviews of clinical documentation and charges to ensure accuracy
• Perform medical records audits for compliance with regulations and standards
• Research and develop educational materials related to coding and documentation
• Provide coding and documentation support to healthcare providers
• Attend Revenue Cycle meetings to identify and address educational needs

• Associate s Degree in a healthcare-related field is required;
  Bachelor s Degree preferred
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS-P, or CPC certification is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Physician/Professional Service coding
• Ability to obtain CPMA, CDEO, CCDS, and CDIP certifications within two years of hire

• Bachelor s Degree in a healthcare-related field
• CPMA, CDEO, CCDS, and CDIP certifications
• Experience with electronic software tools such as Epic, Slicer Dicer, and 3M
