Position: MRI Technologist - MRI Kanza - PT - Day
Position Status:

Part time

Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America)

* 1 year MRI experience. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
* Radiography - ARRT Required
* Magnetic Resonance Imaging - MRI - ARRT Preferred
* Basic Life Support - BLS Required within 90 days of hire.

What you will do
* Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
* Assists radiologist in examinations.
* Measures and administers contrast media.
* Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
* Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
* Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
* Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
* Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
* Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
* Performs office work including, but not limited to, answering phone, filing, obtaining information from computer, typing cards to stamp films, and ordering departmental supplies.
