London | £60,000 + car allowance and benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit for an exciting opportunity supporting some of the largest construction projects in London.

This role offers the chance to work closely with leading Principal Contractors while representing the client. This is a home-based role with regular travel to site.

The organisation has a strong track record in health and safety, and this position plays a key role in maintaining and advancing that standard.

Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

The responsibilities for the Health and Safety Manager include:  

Delivering expert advice and ensuring timely, accurate health and safety reporting, while actively engaging with project teams across the organisation on key H&S matters
Providing health and safety leadership on site across multiple construction projects, ensuring incidents are promptly reported, thoroughly investigated, and followed up with actionable improvements
Collaborating with the wider team to shape and implement health and safety strategy, identifying opportunities to strengthen the function both internally and with external stakeholders

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

Strong legislative experience within a Health and Safety role, ideally from within construction or a related industry
A Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards CMIOSH
Excellent communication skills with proven experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders
