As a PMHNP, you will provide integrated care, conducting psychiatric assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will also incorporate innovative therapies and support patients through social prescribing and community partnerships.
Responsibilities Clinical Care- Conduct evidence-based psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy
- Administer TMS and Spravato
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
- Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes
- Connect patients with resources through social prescribing
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and leadership opportunities
- Stay updated on psychiatric advancements and expand your expertise
- Pursue certifications and leadership opportunities to enhance your career
- Education:
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program - License & Certification:
Active Colorado NP license, PMHNP-BC certification, DEA registration - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a psychiatric setting, EHR proficiency (Athena experience preferred)
