This is a full‑time hybrid role located in Miami, FL, with the flexibility to work from home part‑time. The Medical Coding Specialist will be responsible for accurately coding and reviewing medical records to ensure compliance and proper billing. Key responsibilities include reviewing medical documentation, assigning appropriate codes using recognized coding systems, supporting accurate claims submissions, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure coding accuracy.

The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of industry updates, legal changes, and best practices in medical coding.

• Proficiency in Medical Coding and expertise in Coding Experience using industry‑standard systems
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
• Certification or eligibility for RHIT preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret medical records accurately
• Good understanding of compliance regulations and coding guidelines
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Previous experience in home healthcare settings is a plus
