Florida Doctors Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Provider Relations Representative to support network growth and provider engagement throughout Central and North Florida. This is a hybrid role that combines field-based provider visits with remote work, focused on recruiting new providers, expanding our footprint across the state, and supporting existing provider relationships.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, professional, and comfortable working both independently in the field and collaboratively with internal teams.
Responsibilities- Recruit and engage new providers throughout Central and North Florida
- Expand Florida Doctors Group’s provider network across assigned territories
- Conduct in-person visits with prospective and existing providers
- Support provider onboarding, education, and ongoing relationship management
- Review and explain agreements, contracts, and network participation requirements
- Serve as a liaison between providers and Florida Doctors Group
- Support providers with operational questions, reporting, and plan education
- Maintain accurate documentation of outreach, visits, and follow-ups
- Travel within assigned regions as needed
- Prior experience in provider relations, network development, recruiting, or managed care
- Strong understanding of provider contracting and network growth
- Experience engaging and negotiating with providers or medical groups
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment
- Professional and confident demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Sign
- Willingness to travel throughout Central and North Florida
- Experience working with MSOs, IPAs, or health plans
- Familiarity with Medicare Advantage and managed care networks
- Existing provider relationships in Central or North Florida
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
