• Conduct secondary reviews of invoices to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency before submission.
• Train Contract Representatives according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform quality assurance checks and provide coaching and feedback as needed.
• Serve as a secondary contact for assigned customers, ensuring effective communication and support.
• Maintain accurate records related to invoices, billing, and reporting, while managing inbound and outbound communications.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing, with knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with intermediate to advanced skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in grammar and punctuation.

• Associate degree or technical certification in medical billing.
• General understanding of ambulance billing and service levels.
• Familiarity with CMS DRG/PPS guidelines and contract comprehension.
• Ability to type 45 wpm and perform 10-key by touch.
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
