The primary role of the Lead Innovation Coordinator (Lead IC) is to carry out the daily tasks of an Innovation Coordinator (IC), supporting people to live more effective and meaningful lives by working with them to secure nontraditional services that encompass a combination of staff supports and enabling technologies, as well as supporting a small caseload when assigned. In addition to fulfilling the core duties of an Innovation Coordinator, the Lead IC is tasked with mentoring fellow ICs during their on‑the‑job training, ensuring that internal protocols are properly implemented and followed during onboarding both in person and virtually.
The Lead IC will also take part in and lead various staff development and supervisory training sessions. When needed, the Lead IC may assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff, acting as a liaison between program training and the innovation coordinators to provide guidance and support that ensures effective service delivery.
- Demonstrate respect for individuals with disabilities by working collaboratively with families, advocates, and service partners, while upholding the organization’s mission, values, and policies.
- Manage daily scheduling and shared calendars; actively participate in required meetings, trainings, and committees; and evaluate and improve training effectiveness using stakeholder feedback and best practices.
- Coordinate and manage a caseload of up to 15 individuals; collaborate regularly with trainers, managers, and leadership; provide consultation, training, and onboarding support; maintain accurate case documentation; support learning and staff development; and ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and organizational standards and regulations.
- Complete required administrative reporting, including monthly travel reimbursement and timekeeping submissions.
- Participate in required CLC and DDA meetings and trainings and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Educate and support individuals and families on MAPs services, advocate for person‑centered choices, and collaborate with provider agencies to meet individual goals.
- Monitor service satisfaction and milestone progress monthly and manage budgets to maximize goal achievement.
- Work remotely in Tennessee from a distraction‑free space, using company‑provided equipment and hotspot, with flexibility for travel and use of remote technologies.

Minimum Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to pass a background check upon hire.
- Valid TN driver’s license.
- Vehicle insurance.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the human services field, or a related field; paired with experience in delivering or coordinating services and/or providing case management for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a non‑related field, plus one year of experience in delivering or coordinating services and/or providing case management for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
OR Associate’s degree, a High School diploma, or a GED, combined with four years of experience in delivering or coordinating services and/or providing case management for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
