Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. A successful candidate will supervise the work of our third-party OT assessment provider and partner with our construction division to ensure assessment findings are seamlessly converted into precise, accessibility-focused home modifications for Consumers.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee occupational therapy assessments/recommendations from third-party OT partner
  • Collaborate with partner to develop personalized assessments taking into account the patients, families, and other healthcare providers' needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input regarding patient care plans
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of occupational therapy practice
Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapy License (MOTR or MOTR/L) from an accredited program
  • Current State of Missouri and Kansas licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, with experience in both in-person and Telehealth assessments
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice in occupational therapy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable using video platforms as a means to complete the Occupational Therapy Assessments
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of Durable & Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies
Working Conditions:

This position primarily involves working remotely via Telehealth, with occasional in-person assessments as needed. The Occupational Therapist will primarily work remotely, but may occasionally provide services in non-clinical settings such as patients' homes if available to do so. We leave this up to the discretion of the Occupational Therapist.

Physical Requirements:

The Occupational Therapist must be able to perform physical tasks, such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. They must also be able to work with patients who have physical disabilities or limitations.
