• Manage all aspects of catastrophic medical professional liability claims for designated clients/insureds
• Establish and maintain claims files, providing comprehensive oversight of claims of varying severity
• Develop and implement action plans to present to clients for correcting deficiencies and improving outcomes
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide recommendations on claims resolution
• Conduct audits and participate in client strategy meetings, mediations, and industry conferences

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience in claims management
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Certification in Medical Liability Claims Handling with 10+ years of experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide writing samples
• Dedicated home office space for privacy and confidentiality while working remotely

• Experience in Medical Liability Claims Management and Catastrophic Excess Claims Management
• Negotiation training and experience
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school preferred
• Experience giving group presentations
