We are seeking psychotherapists for specific areas:
We are currently seeking licensed psychotherapists with demonstrated training and clinical experience in the following areas:

  • A dialectical behaviour therapist (DBT), with experience running DBT Groups, for clients with BPD +/- ADHD,
  • Individual and family therapists for Eating Disorder treatment,
  • Certified ADHD or executive function coaches,

You are an experienced, committed and engaged clinician, interested in providing trauma-informed psychotherapy as well as practicing safe and effective use of self.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated clinical experience with clients, including case conceptualization, conducting diagnosis specific protocols, or adherence to published treatment guidelines,
  • Masters-level education in related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of treatment experience and expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, (previous service to only children or only adults will also be considered),
  • Member in good standing of appropriate regulated health professions College (including Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario) Member of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA) or College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO),
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with Electronic Medical Record technology and willing to use technology in daily practice.
  • Commitment to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities by keeping up to date regarding professional standards through reviewing current literature, attending workshops/seminars and networking with colleagues,
  • A satisfactory and current Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector Screening,
  • Must have your own professional liability insurance with adequate coverage for virtual practice (as well as access to reliable and secure high-speed internet (if working from a private home office).
  • Ability to follow the record management policies of their employer in compliance with PHIPA.

As an Independent Contractor, you’ll manage your own caseload while contributing to our culture of a collaborative, growth-oriented, and well balanced psychotherapist career and life.

  • Provide individual, couples, or family therapy (virtual or in-person),
  • Participate in team consultation and professional development,
  • Contribute to projects or initiatives that inspire you (training, workshops, community programs),
  • Bring your unique expertise and curiosity to our mission.
  • Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation using our secure Owl Practice EHR,
  • Participate in DaLD clinical consultation, training, and advance your knowledge and practice of research and evidence-supported treatments,
  • Collaborate with our network of team members to help develop and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment plans (such as write referral reports to other health professionals including general practitioners, psychiatrists, and other specialists, or letters of support for academic or workplace accommodations),
  • Respond and field inquiries from new and existing clients by email and phone, maintain timely and accurate clinical records, and safeguard the confidentiality of client records, in accordance with regulatory standards,
  • Identify, assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans,
  • Write timely and ethical case notes including client’s history and treatment plans,
  • Interact and assess the level of risk when clients present with indications of harm to self or others, or suicidality,
