- Research and identify root causes of edits and denials in billing processes
- Develop and implement error prevention initiatives to enhance performance
- Coordinate with internal customers and various business units to drive improvement
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience within healthcare revenue cycle
- One (1) year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable billing
- One (1) year of experience resolving insurance payer denials
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workflows
- Associate's degree or equivalent years of college education
- Experience with both technical (UB) and professional (1500) billing
- Familiarity with EPIC Patient Accounting System
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in patient billing and accounting applications
