** Overview:
**** Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified Medical Assistants!
**** Qualified New Grads are eligible for a bonus. Must be either a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic.
**** This is a full-time Float Pool position. Primary work is in Elizabeth City, Moyock, and Edenton, North Carolina.
**** Standard

Working Hours:

Monday through Friday-8,10, or 12-hour shifts
**** Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.
**** Overview
* * Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
** Education
* ** High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
* Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
** Certification/Licensure
*** Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
* BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
** Experience
* ** 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
* Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)-B Certification
