Home Based Therapist (67740) – Variety Care
Join us to make a powerful impact on families in crisis. Every child deserves safety, permanence, and well‑being. We’re looking for passionate, resilient therapists for our Intensive Safety Services (ISS) team.
This role involves stepping into homes to provide the intensive, in‑home therapy that can change a child’s trajectory. You will have a manageable caseload of 3–4 families and a deep commitment to collaborative, trauma‑informed care.
Base pay range$60,000.00/yr — $70,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities- Deliver evidence‑based, in‑home therapy 3–5 times a week to families facing potential child welfare court involvement.
- Provide on‑call and after‑hours support to prevent disruptions and ensure safety.
- Collaborate closely with DHS, CHBS, and community partners to support family stabilization and wraparound services.
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide clinical assessments and referrals when needed.
- Help families overcome barriers to stability, whether that’s connecting to services, providing special funding, or advocating for their needs.

- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field.
- Licensure in Oklahoma as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC‑MH or under supervision toward licensure.
- Passion for working with vulnerable populations, and a trauma‑informed, strength‑based approach.
- Strong crisis management skills and emotional resilience to walk alongside families during difficult times.
- Reliable transportation and a desire to serve Oklahoma families where they are.
- Full‑time, field‑based position (home/community visits required).
- Access to a phone/hotspot stipend.
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certified (or willing to obtain).
- Community‑based role requiring travel and a high degree of autonomy; occasional work on holidays, weekends, or during office closures.
