1099 - REMOTE - Licensed Clinical Therapist - KY The Role
We are currently looking to contract with 1099 therapists, clinically licensed in Kentucky, who would provide therapy and support to the clients (students) who use the Timely Care platform. Mental Health Counseling is part of a broad range of Timely Care's digital health services that are extended to members of higher education, primarily college students. As a licensed clinical therapist with Timely Care, you will offer therapy for the students we serve, partnering with them to identify their needs, collaborate and develop treatment plans, and guide them when necessary to other appropriate Timely Care services (Medical, Psychiatry, etc.).

- Required:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Preferred:
Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP) - Active State License(s) in KY
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/deescalation and safety/treatment planning
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
- Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
- Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using Timely Care's electronic health record
- Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
- Communicate cross functionally with other teams and departments to support care continuation as needed
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
- Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
- Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR in a punctual manner
- Be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
- Remain calm and maintain composure during potential high stress scenarios
- Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
- Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

- Per session rate is discussed upon interview and is dependent on level of education, licensure breadth, and clinical experience
