As a telephonic first responder, you will deliver compassionate emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services to callers experiencing a broad range of emotional, behavioral, and situational challenges.

• Provide empathetic, ethical, and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing distress or seeking guidance.
• Build rapport, actively listen, and foster client engagement.
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including levels of risk and urgent safety issues.
• Provide resources, coping strategies, referrals, and safety planning.
• Intervene appropriately in emergent situations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically sound documentation.
• Multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems.
• Ensure a secure, HIPAA‑compliant home workspace with a locking door and a wired, stable internet connection.

• Education:
  
  MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field; or M.A./M.S. with a clinical practice emphasis from a COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE‑accredited program.
• Licensure: LSW, LMHCA, LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW (must reside in IN and hold one of the following).
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services.
• Indiana residency required.

• Base hourly pay, plus $1.00/hr for voluntary Saturday & Sunday shifts.
• $1.00/hr for a full 40‑hour workweek post‑training.
• Shift differentials ranging between $2 and $6 depending on shift and tenure.

• Six‑week paid virtual training cohort (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST).
• Upon graduation, transition to regular schedule developed with Scheduling Department; regular availability on weekends and holidays required.
