Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Weekends Purpose

Overview

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Weekend position with Home Health Care, Inc. supports clients to regain independence through home-based therapy, working with OTs to restore function, educate families, and provide compassionate care.

• Carry out treatment interventions crafted by an Occupational Therapist, including exercises and functional activities.
• Observe and report patient progress or complications to the OT.
• Provide coaching to clients and their families on the use of assistive devices and home-based care plans.
• Document all interventions and patient responses in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate care updates with the OT and wider healthcare team.

• Licensed COTA in Minnesota.
• Experience with patient mobility and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ability to thrive with autonomy during weekend shifts.
• Comfort working in diverse home environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Schedule:

Saturdays and Sundays (can be every other).

Pay: $42 - $46 per visit.

Mileage reimbursement between clients.
