Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full‑Time Occupational Therapist to our staff in Ames, IA, for the Skilled Nursing setting. We are a patient‑focused, therapist‑owned, and therapist‑managed company that operates throughout Iowa, providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. Our local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient‑tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet individualized goals of each patient.

Negotiable – based on experience

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Assesses patients/residents, develops care plans, delivers direct treatment, and consults with a general rehab caseload.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
• Supervises other licensed occupational therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. In programs with two or more occupational therapists/assistants, additional administrative duties may be assigned.
