Pharmacy Technician – IV Pump Safety Software Implementation
Duration: 12 months Contract
Location:
Remote (with limited travel up to 10%)
We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Pharmacy Technician to support IV pump implementations and safety software integration. This role focuses on assisting customers in building, validating, and finalizing drug library rule sets to ensure the safe and effective clinical use of infusion devices.
Key Responsibilities- Support customers in building and configuring drug library rule sets within the safety software.
- Collaborate with lead pharmacy consultants and customer teams to validate and test drug library entries.
- Partner with customers and lead pharmacists to review, verify, and test infusion pump configurations.
- Facilitate completion, documentation, and formal sign-off of drug library builds.
- Maintain accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail in all deliverables and communications.
- Associate’s degree in Pharmacy Technology or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in clinical pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare settings.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with computer applications and software systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate infusion pump systems and safety software tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to work remotely with limited travel (up to 10%).
