Position

Medical Biller at Sunbelt Healthcare (Tucson, Arizona). Applicants must be located in the Tucson, Arizona area.

Responsibilities
  • Perform insurance follow-up and review payment posting.
  • Handle associated denials and write appeals for claims.
  • Work with coders to write appeals and correct claims.
  • Communicate with patients, submit records, review benefits.
  • Enter charges, write appeals, manage LOMN’s as required.
  • Complete assigned projects within management-defined timelines.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Medical Billing experience (outside of schooling/externship).
  • Proficient knowledge of ICD‑10/HCPCS.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google-based webpages.
  • Experience with A/R Follow‑up (preferred).
  • Collections experience (preferred).
  • Physical Therapy Claims experience (preferred).
  • Ability to multi‑task and keen attention to detail.
  • Remote work setting available after completion of on‑site training/probationary period.
