Find your purpose making a difference as an Associate Psychotherapist or Psychotherapist with our Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit! The psychotherapist provides diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and executes therapeutic treatment toward defined goals. The psychotherapist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.
Schedule- Full time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.
- 5 p.m. - Locations:
Centra Care Plaza or Midsota Behavioral Health - Some remote work possible in addition to onsite work.
- Psychotherapist starting pay begins at $75,254.40 per year; exact wage based on experience.
- Salary range: $68,939.12 - $ per year
- $6,000 hiring bonus for those with current MN license (LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC)
- Associate Psychotherapist starting pay begins at $71,780.80 per year; wage determined by experience.
- Salary range: $63,747.33 - $95,642.90 per year

- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related Human Services field
- State licensure: LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC
- Minimum of one-year experience
- Compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372, regarding sexual exploitation of patients
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related Human Services field
- State licensure: LGSW, LISW, LAMFT, or LPC
- Full MN licensure (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC) within 5 years
- Relevant clinical internship experience preferred
- Compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Minimum of one-year experience
- Post-doc training preferred
- Licensure as Licensed Psychologist (LP) in Minnesota
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate hired into an eligible position. Previous employees are eligible if they have not worked for Centra Care for at least 9 months. Incentives may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
