Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join its Inpatient Behavioral Health team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, a 276 bed hospital with a 26 bed Behavioral Health Unit.

• Scheduling by mutual agreement
• Perform initial assessments, monitor daily progress, and discharges
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate
• Partner with care coordination teams, families, and patients
• Assess and manage crisis situations
• Fully integrated EHR (Epic)

Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.
