Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team! This position requires working in-office closely with doctors and patients (please do not apply if you are seeking remote work). As a Medical Biller, you will collaborate with clients to answer billing questions, process insurance forms, and gather necessary documentation. You will also support other Medical Billers with follow-up inquiries, communicate with physicians' offices and hospitals to obtain records, and accurately record patient information.

The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable on the phone most of the day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with processing insurance claims through private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
• Note and process all necessary insurance forms
• Help patients navigate billing and insurance processes, including collecting forms and signatures
• Coordinate with doctors’ offices and hospitals to obtain billing details
• Enter billing and payment information accurately into the system
• Follow up with clients and payments as needed
• Answer phones, assist clients with questions, take messages, and screen calls
• Maintain confidentiality at all times

• Previous experience with medical coding and billing is required
