ABA Behavior Technician - Contingent role at Easterseals MORC

• Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism in mainly center-based settings with occasional home-based services as needed.
• Teach important life skills like communication, play, self-help, and social skills using proven ABA methods.
• Work closely with an onsite BCBA who provides hands-on training, guidance, and real-time support during sessions.
• Collect data and document sessions accurately.
• Manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
• Participate in light cleaning and support children in daily routines (e.g., dressing, toileting, brushing teeth).
• Note:
  
  This position requires working with a range of children who may exhibit challenging behaviors.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma.
• Transportation:
  Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between different sites;
  Mileage Reimbursements offered.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.
• Preferred experience:
  
  Experience with autism and related disorders, experience with children ages 0-16, and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Able to lift up to 40 lbs; able to sit in a child-sized chair or on the floor and switch between sitting and standing; walk, jog, or run as needed.
