Clinical Education and Training Specialist - Benelux (Remote / Flexible)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

The Clinical Education and Training Specialist will support the delivery and embedding of Clinical Training and Education in the Benelux region to develop the clinical skills, knowledge, confidence and competencies of the internal team (Clinical Service Managers, Clinical Product Educators, Sales team) and external stakeholders (HCPs, KOLs, rising stars, and People with Diabetes). The goal is to increase product adoption, usage, and customer success with the Omnipod therapy.
Responsibilities- Work with sales and clinical teams in the region to build knowledge, confidence, and competence to drive clinical excellence and increase uptake of Omnipod.
- Deliver new product launch training to internal teams in conjunction with other commercial functions.
- Provide education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams to achieve best‑in‑class service to customers.
- Deliver digital, virtual and face‑to‑face training in both group and individual settings.
- Create educational material and use the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content; training will be provided.
- Assist with sales events such as pump clinics, support groups, information sessions, in‑office educational events, patient nights, JDRF walks, vendor days, and more for HCPs and PwD.
- Promote benefits of insulin pump therapy and sell Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers, KOLs, rising stars, and product users.
- Evaluate and support Certified Pod Training and CSMs in the skills needed to be effective in helping patients transition to Omnipod therapy.
- Collaborate with Sales Excellence, Clinical Teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other Insulet Europe functions to enhance patient training based on territorial business needs, ensuring consistency of messaging.
- Drive consistency, standardization and simplicity in all regional activities.
- Support product training and clinical topic development and delivery for sales and clinical onboarding.
- Liaise with Global Training and other internal trainers to share materials and best practices.
- Develop and deliver HCP education in the field, both to support the field team and to deliver independently as a respected peer.
- Support education and training of HCPs at Insulet and partner education offerings.
- Tactically deliver the education strategy plan in the region.
- Engage KOLs to support development and delivery of education materials for HCPs.
- Perform administrative duties and submit deliverables in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering and embedding clinical training to field teams and HCPs.
- Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French.
- Highly competent in virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, Web Ex).
- Professional credentials or certifications preferred:
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN). - Experience with diabetes technology and prior industry/commercial exposure highly preferred.
- Strong presentation skills (virtual and face‑to‑face).
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Self‑started with minimal direction, flexible, and strong business acumen.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Veeva, and Learning Management Systems.
- Experience providing clinical education to Health Care Professionals.
- Ability to adapt training to varied learning styles.
- Commercial mindset with strong business acumen and influence skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Regular business travel within the region; extensive travel to conduct training events and field visits (up to 50% air travel).
- Work environment includes home office, car, and regional offices in Paris, Munich, London.
