What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide clinical triage and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to offer appropriate patient care
• Respond to phone requests from patients under the direction of the physician, documenting all details in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Review patient data for relevant clinical updates and implement physician/provider orders
• Obtain and document patient histories, chief complaints, and make appropriate dispositions based on established protocols
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, and dietary recommendations while adhering to HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current certification/license from a recognized medical assistant or nursing body
• High‑speed internet service for remote work
• HIPAA compliant workspace, including desk, chair, and ergonomic needs
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of employment
• Licensure for both Indiana and Kentucky, or compact licensure accepted
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
