• Online Therapy: Conduct individual, couples, or family therapy sessions via secure video conferencing (based on your license scope and expertise).
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state-specific requirements.
• Ethical Practice & Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to the APA Code of Ethics, state licensing board regulations, and HIPAA standards to ensure client privacy and data security.
• Client Communication: Respond promptly to client inquiries, schedule sessions, and clearly communicate your therapeutic approach, fees, and practice policies.
• Direct Fee Management: Establish your session rates and manage billing and payments directly with your clients.

• Education: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an APA-accredited program (or equivalent recognized doctoral program).
• Licensure:
  Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology independently in at least one US state. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with telehealth laws for any state where you provide services.
• Experience: Demonstrated post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment (as applicable).

  Competency:
  
  Proficiency in using HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms (e.g., Doxy.me, Simple Practice, Zoom for Healthcare) and familiarity with best practices for telehealth. Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly preferred.
• Legal & Ethical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA, relevant state laws governing psychological practice and telehealth, and the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct.
• Insurance: Must maintain adequate professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
• Skills:

• Status: Independent Contractor (1099).
• Flexibility: Full or part-time availability, set entirely by you. Work as few or as many hours as you choose (e.g., 3-20+ hours per week).
• Autonomy: Complete control over your schedule and working hours.
• Location: Work remotely from any location within the United States where you hold an active license and comply with telehealth regulations.
• Compensation: Set your own competitive hourly rates based on your expertise and market standards.
• Direct Payment: Clients pay you directly;
