Overview

Mental Health Therapist - Evenings or Weekends. Ellie Mental Health, now part of Nystrom & Associates, seeks a therapist to improve access to quality mental health care. This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings range from $24,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on compensation model, full-time or part-time status, number of client sessions per week, licensure, experience, and average reimbursement rate.

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution
• Candidates will have licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create, implement, and maintain treatment plans with ongoing documentation
• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy in outpatient settings
• Active participation in growing and maintaining caseload to meet weekly billable targets (full-time: 25 sessions, part-time: 10–24)
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a team to close gaps in community care
• Use creative interventions to help clients achieve goals
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings

This role leverages in-person and telehealth care, meeting clients where they are. A hybrid clinician schedule is possible with collaboration between the clinic and remote work. Ellie supports a clinician-friendly experience with compensation, benefits, training, flexible scheduling (FT/PT), CEUs, and centralized administrative support. Some telehealth is available, but regular office commuting is required.
