Job Type & Compensation- Full Time, 80 Hours + ADO
- Hybrid Work Arrangements: flexibility to work on‑site and remotely
- Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 5
- Generous Leave: 5 weeks annual leave plus 13 additional paid days off each year

The Safety & Wellbeing team provides leadership, strategic guidance, systems, risk reporting/monitoring and expert advice in key areas such as OHS management systems, occupational violence, manual handling and ergonomics, workplace injury prevention, emergency preparedness and wellbeing initiatives.
PositionThe Wellbeing Lead will support the overall coordination and delivery of Alfred Health's Wellbeing strategy, focusing on both mental and physical health. This role will motivate, inspire and support employees to foster a positive and resilient workforce. The Wellbeing Lead works closely with the Director, Safety & Wellbeing and the broader Safety & Wellbeing team to implement a strategy aligned with the organization’s core beliefs.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver the Wellbeing strategy across the organization.
- Develop and implement wellbeing management systems and programs.
- Conduct physical and psychosocial risk assessments.
- Lead projects, manage stakeholder relationships and oversee wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide compliance auditing and advisory services related to workplace wellbeing.
- Tertiary qualifications or degree in Health and Safety, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of workplace wellbeing management, including compliance auditing and advisory services.
- Proven experience in designing wellbeing systems and delivering wellbeing programs.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing wellbeing programs.
- Experience leading projects and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the health industry highly regarded.
- Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage, inspire and influence employees and leaders at all levels.
- Proven project management experience, managing multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of mental health and physical wellbeing best practices.
- Ability to navigate and influence change management processes.
- Flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home days.
