Assistant Case Management Specialist - Remote

Marquis Health Consulting Services continues to grow and we are adding an Assistant Case Management Specialist to support our expanding portfolio of SNF, AL, and IL facilities in the Mid‑Atlantic. Partner with awesomely talented people. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Case Management Specialist is the management of the Medicaid residents in the facilities as indicated. This includes the investigation of clinical needs, communication of needs to teams, and continued oversight of the residents following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long‑term care.

Job Duties
  • Must have knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and insurance reimbursement procedures.
  • Engage the regional team and facility teams in problems‑solving processes to identify Quality of Life opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Implement an audit and monitoring system to ensure all residents receive the care needed to maintain quality of life.
  • Recognize, advise, and promote facility best practices and systems for dealing with state Case Mix payment systems.
  • Coordinate with the Case Management Specialist to align strategy, priorities, and communication to facilitate effective and well‑organized functional rounds and Case Mix meetings.
  • Be knowledgeable of nursing and rehabilitative practices and procedures as well as regulations and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.
  • Attend calls for facilities in which audits were completed and communicate effectively the recommendations to the centers.
  • Complete Quality of Life calls for facilities they oversee.
  • Complete weekly reporting of opportunities identified for facility residents.
Education and Experience
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in long‑term care reimbursement.
  • Management skills with good understanding of CMI process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Salary range is $105,000 to $115,000.
