Speech Language Pathologist Position - Cincinnati, OH - Remote Services

THE POSITION:You’ll provide teletherapy services to students in grades pre‑K through 8th grade, working 35‑37 hours weekly with a caseload of approximately 50‑60 students. Your students will need support addressing articulation disorders and speech‑sound errors, language impairments affecting comprehension, vocabulary, and expression, pragmatic language difficulties impacting social interactions, fluency disorders, voice and resonance issues, augmentative communication supports when needed.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders using virtual assessment protocols and standardized tools
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports meeting state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings to discuss assessment findings and develop appropriate goals
- Provide individual and group telepractice sessions targeting specific communication objectives
- Implement evidence‑based treatment approaches adapted for virtual delivery
- Create engaging digital activities and therapy materials
- Collect data on student performance and progress toward IEP goals
- Consult with educators regarding classroom modifications and communication supports
- Train school staff and families in supporting students’ communication development
- Maintain thorough documentation of all services provided
- Meet compliance requirements for Medicaid billing when applicable
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech‑language pathology and telepractice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA
- Valid Ohio SLP license (must be current and in good standing)
- Master’s degree from an accredited speech‑language pathology program
- Two years minimum experience in school‑based settings
- Knowledge of childhood communication disorders and development
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfort with technology and virtual service delivery platforms
- Organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation
- Effective communication for remote team collaboration
- Private workspace for conducting confidential therapy sessions
- Reliable internet connection
- Computer meeting telepractice standards
- Quality audio‑visual equipment
- Familiarity with platforms like Zoom or Google Meet
- Access to digital therapy resources and materials
