Senior Project Manager - Business Process Improvement

Join us as a Senior Project Manager focused on Business Process Improvement at Providence Health Plan. This role is remote and centers on leading large, diverse, and complex implementations across enterprise information system initiatives. The ideal candidate operates within a highly matrixed environment, manages multiple work streams, and partners with executive stakeholders, technology teams, and business leaders to deliver outcomes aligned with Providence’s mission.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Coursework/Training in Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Workout and Lean education (required within the first year)
• 5+ years experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field, or equivalent
• Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles
• Experience incorporating process improvement methodologies into large‑scale projects
• Experience facilitating complex decision‑making among multiple executive stakeholders with differing interests and priorities
• Vendor/contract management and negotiation experience
• Demonstrated success managing other project managers, project portfolios, and/or multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in business development and strategic & tactical planning, including marketing, communications, and financial planning
• Professional presentation experience (conferences, association meetings)
• Experience managing the design, development, integration, or implementation of software products or facilities
• Development and implementation of benchmarks and metrics to improve quality and process design

• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification upon hire
• Certifications in process optimization (Six Sigma, LEAN, CQIA, or other nationally recognized certifications)
• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies
• Ability to translate technical information system requirements into business language
