Radiology/Imaging Services Patient Service Representative

This position greets, checks‑in, and registers patients who arrive at our imaging facility for their radiologic procedure or test. The role also performs deposit reconciliation and assists with guiding and training new team members.

• Greet, check‑in, and register patients who arrive for scheduled appointments or walk‑ins in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner.
• Scan required documents into the system for patient account retrieval.
• Provide necessary forms that need to be completed and obtain signatures as necessary.
• Collect co‑pay, deductible, and private pay, prepare receipts, and record information in the system under the visit tab.
• Function in a team environment and assist other team members when needed.
• Other duties may be required, including answering the phone, escorting patients to the exam room, and scheduling or rescheduling patient exams.

• Proficient in computer software and excellent typing skills.
• Displays a high competency for the role and is very efficient in the registration process.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and company policies including safety, privacy, and HIPAA.
• Problem‑solving techniques and skills.
• Able to communicate clearly to establish cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and team members, creating a pleasant waiting‑room atmosphere.
• Minimum of one‑year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
• Must have computer and phone experience.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Previous office or call center experience preferred.
• Previous working experience in customer service, preferably in a medical setting.
