About Monterey County WraparoundWraparound is an intensive, community-based, family centered, and goal driven program. The program utilizes a flexible, creative, strengths and values-based process aimed at helping youth (under the age of 21) and families involved with foster care, juvenile justice, or children's behavioral health solve the problems that they are most worried about in their lives. Services include intensive home based and community-based services, intensive care coordination, collateral/individual skill building, and crisis prevention and response.
Central to the Wraparound process is the Family Team which is composed of the youth, caregivers, natural support, and formal service providers which provide team-based and sustainable support in a collaborative way.
