Overview

School-Based Outpatient Clinician
- Nelson County Public Schools

This position would be a full-time, 10-month position that aligns with the Nelson County Public Schools academic year.

Based in Life Bridge Counseling, we serve the Richmond area with multiple locations across Virginia, including Nelson County Public Schools, and have been dedicated to fostering healthier lives since 2015.

We offer outpatient therapy services tailored to individual needs, whether in person or via tele-health, through a wide array of clinical modalities and specializations. We partner with True North Health Clinic and Intercept Health to provide comprehensive care, from Psychiatry to Crisis and Home-based services.

Responsibilities

Provide vital individual, family, or group treatments within Nelson County Public Schools.

  • Deliver outpatient therapy services aligned with client needs and clinical modalities.
  • Collaborate with school-based teams and external partners to support student well-being and crisis response as needed.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices and maintain clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
Qualifications

Life Bridge clinicians are licensed professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCP) or are under supervision toward licensure (Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work).

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate clinical experience with children, adolescents, or families, experience across various therapeutic modalities, and a commitment to evidence-based practices.
