Position: Billing Coordinator III (Billing Specialist Subsidiary) REMOTE

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research payer rejections and denials related to genetic testing claims
  • Generate a high volume of successful appeals to insurance carriers for payment
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop best practices and resolve denial issues
  • Review payer medical policies to identify causes of denials
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with insurers on payer denials
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance claims, or accessing payer portals
  • Experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denial codes from insurances
  • Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid/HMOs/PPOs/commercial insurances
  • Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Knowledge or experience with Xifin and CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing duties and problem-solve effectively
  • Professional communication skills across various platforms
  • Proven ability to manage time and tasks independently with minimal supervision
