- Conduct research on payer rejections and denials related to genetic testing claims
- Generate a high volume of successful appeals to insurance carriers to secure payments
- Collaborate with various teams to develop best practices and address denial issues
- Review payer medical policies to ascertain the reasons for denials
- Maintain consistent follow‑up with insurance providers regarding denied claims
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance claims, or accessing payer portals
- Strong familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denial codes from insurance providers
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, PPOs, and commercial insurances preferred
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience preferred
- Experience with Xifin and CRM applications such as Salesforce
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems
- A strong work ethic and commitment to enhancing patient care
