Position: Billing Coordinator III (Billing Specialist Subsidiary) REMOTE

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on payer rejections and denials related to genetic testing claims
  • Generate a high volume of successful appeals to insurance carriers to secure payments
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop best practices and address denial issues
  • Review payer medical policies to ascertain the reasons for denials
  • Maintain consistent follow‑up with insurance providers regarding denied claims
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance claims, or accessing payer portals
  • Strong familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denial codes from insurance providers
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, PPOs, and commercial insurances preferred
  • Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Xifin and CRM applications such as Salesforce
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask across multiple systems
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to enhancing patient care
