This position will collaborate with other professionals to evaluate pediatric patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team. They work collaboratively with all healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans that support patient-centered plans of care for both individual pediatric patients and the medical community.
Job SummaryPrimary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal, and/or environmental issues. Formulate biopsychosocial assessment, disposition, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in the treatment and care plan.
What You'll Bring
Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s Degree Social Work or Master’s Degree Mental Health & Behavioral Medicine required
- 0-1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting required
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver’s License required
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred

- Developing and demonstrating interpersonal collaboration in a medical setting- inpatient or outpatient.
- May provide some assistance and support with onboarding for new team members.
- Aware of opportunities in department/service initiatives; participates in initiatives at an entity level. Uses data to measure progress.
- Demonstrate fundamental skills under supervision. May need assistance in promoting collaboration among healthcare team members, other colleagues, and the organization to support and enhance patient care.
Full Time (40 hours) Monday through Friday
- Hybrid: PAGS (Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem) at 30 Tozer Road, Beverly MA (~2 days per week); 84 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA (~1 day per week); 376 Boston Street, Topsfield, MA (~1 day per week); remote from home (~1 day per week)
- Remote work requires stable, secure, quiet, compliant work station
- Team meetings on-site at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA on the first and third Wednesday of every month
