Summary: A meticulous and dedicated Credentialing Specialist to join our team at Quality Medical Imaging home office. You will play a critical part in ensuring that our healthcare providers meet the necessary standards and qualifications to deliver top-quality services. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive credentialing processes and maintaining accurate records to support our mission of excellence in patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Conduct thorough verification of healthcare providers' credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications.
· Maintain up-to-date documentation and records in our credentialing database, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
· Collaborate with medical staff and department leaders to facilitate the credentialing process and address any discrepancies or concerns.
· Monitor and track expiration dates for licenses and certifications, initiating renewal processes as needed.
· Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on credentialing activities and trends.
· Stay informed of changes in accreditation and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Adheres to Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
· Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:· 2+ years of experience in credentialing within a healthcare setting.
· Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and the credentialing process.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Proficient in using credential management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks and standards.
· Experience with data management and reporting tools.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address credentialing challenges.
· Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

· A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
Preferred:
Certification as a Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or similar credentialing certification. ·
· Experience with privileging and re-credentialing processes.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data analysis.
Compensation details: 22-28 Hourly Wage
