Are you an experienced Business Office Manager with a passion for operational excellence in skilled nursing? Vivo Healthcare is seeking a proactive and highly organized Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee billing and financial operations while ensuring resident satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As our Business Office Manager, you will lead all billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities for the facility. Your expertise in skilled nursing financial operations will be key to achieving cash collection and AR goals while supporting our mission of exceptional resident care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Medicaid Pending applications, collaborating with residents, families, and agencies to secure coverage efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including issuing receipts, preparing deposits, and recording payments with appropriate segregation of duties.
  • Partner with the home office billing team and payers to ensure timely and accurate claims processing and payment.
  • Manage census activities, balancing daily, weekly, and monthly data with nursing and admissions teams.
  • Oversee Resident Trust Accounts with weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage petty cash and collection processes to maintain operational integrity.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all resident, employee, and operational data.
  • Interact professionally with residents, families, staff, visitors, and external agencies under all circumstances.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
What You Bring
  • Experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required.
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles in healthcare, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing.
  • Strong computer skills and prior collections experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to drive results and ensure operational compliance.
