** 6am-11pm (occasional overnight coverage)
** Weekends & Holiday Rotation
** The Pharmacy Tech performs care delivery and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.
* Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner
* Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care
* Triages and escalates any questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician's scope of practice as needed
* Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information
* Ensures quality assurance is maintained according to departmental and legal requirements
* Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately
* In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

* A pharmacy technician license is required in the state of practice

* ** High School Diploma or Equivalent
** Certification/Licensure
*** Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required)
* CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB) (Preferred)
** Experience
* ** Pharmacy Experience (preferred).
