We are seeking passionate Therapeutic Mentor and Therapeutic Training and Support staff to join our team in the Worcester, MA area! At Kaleidoscope, we specialize in providing essential services to adolescents with mental and developmental disabilities.
Summary of Therapeutic Training and SupportAs a Therapeutic Mentor (TM) or Therapeutic Training and Support (TTS) provider, you will deliver services to clients and families with Mass Health and commercial insurance who require more intensive support than traditional therapy can offer.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients in one‑on‑one sessions to provide mentorship and training, focusing on developing coping strategies, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with families and treatment teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and challenges.
- Facilitate activities that promote life skills, socialization, and independence, helping clients to navigate daily challenges and improve their overall functioning.
- Assist clients in participating in community activities, enhancing their social networks and support systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition‑age youth; or
- Associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited school and one year of experience with the target population; or
- High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition‑age youth.
- Valid driver's license with vehicle registration and auto insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- A commitment to promoting positive outcomes and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.
- Highly competitive hourly rates (increases based on caseload size, fluency in a second language, and tenure with the agency).
- No requirement to come to an office—focus on delivering care to your clients.
- Buildable part time caseload.
- Paid weekly supervision required, which counts towards licensure.
- Mileage reimbursement.
