What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Coordinate financial clearance activities including patient demographic verification and insurance verification
  • Maintain compliance with insurance requirements for prior authorizations and referrals
  • Act as a subject matter expert in navigating payer policies for patient access to services
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and departments to resolve financial clearance issues

    Process patient registrations and ensure accurate documentation of insurance information
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED;
    Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospital registration and/or insurance; at least one year in a customer service role
  • General knowledge of healthcare terminology and CPT-ICD
    10 codes
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Epic systems and understanding of Revenue Cycle processes
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
