Job Responsibilities
  • Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
  • Document all relevant insurance information, including coinsurance, copays, and authorization requirements
  • Calculate estimated patient financial responsibilities based on benefit verification
  • Initiate and secure prior authorizations, including obtaining clinical documents for submission
  • Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding the status of referrals and coverage updates
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy intake/reimbursement experience
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CPR+ software
