PRN Hospice CNA – Las Vegas
Join OPCO Skilled Management as a hospice-certified nursing assistant. You will provide compassionate, hands‑on care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and their homes within the Las Vegas, NM service area.
Pay RangeBase pay: $20.00/hr – $22.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
About UsDel Corazon Hospice is a patient‑centered hospice organization dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and families during end‑of‑life care.
Position OverviewAs a PRN CNA, you will deliver personal care and emotional support to hospice patients, maintain documentation, and collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and the interdisciplinary team. You will work primarily in Las Vegas, NM, and may visit the Santa Fe home office twice per month.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and emotional support to hospice patients in SNFs and private residences.
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, feeding).
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
- Support families with education and comfort measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation per hospice and regulatory guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times.
- Travel throughout the Las Vegas service area as needed.
- Current New Mexico CNA license (required).
- Hospice or home‑health experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Ability to travel daily within the Las Vegas area.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
